British airways have an offer on for Xmas week of 13,000 baht from Manchester I think it is. For a direct flight that has to be cheap enough for anyone.

British Airways doesn't fly direct from MAN to BKK or, apart from New York, to any other long haul destination.

Don't think this is correct especially with British Airways they do not give much away.

The fare you quote is only £200, at the moment not much around for under £500.

BA usually quote each leg separately on their website. 13,000 to get there sounds good, but you have to get home as well.
