The thing that stands out for me is the two farang police volunteers. Why didn't they tell the guy where the compound was?

Just came from the impound lot now. Thanks to the info on this thread I got pretty close with the baht bus. When I got there I made gps point of reference. For all the guys who are looking, here it is:

I always try and have change for the baht bus, but only once out of perhaps 50 times have I not received change back for a twenty.

Got 'nicked' yesterday for walking the bike 20 yards down soi 8, then got on it when on the beach road - 600 baht fine
