I have stayed a few hotels in soi buhkow area and around Soi Lengkee and like it.

Stayed at Sunview..Opey de Place ..and J and P Court ...and rated them all highly//

Just wondered about all the other hotels I pass from Soi Lengkee to South Pattaya Rd left and right of Soi Buhkow...

Anyone have any information on an.y of these hotels??? I am after one with a pool..same rates as the others I had stayed at..ie 600-800

Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply...

The pic above must have been a few weeks ago as it reopened its doors on dec29th. Place looks good but not sure it has pool!

The place has a pool and the name of the hotel is "Duan Nam Ing" I walked through the place around the 6th of January. No in-room safes, but has lock boxes behind reception.

The marineplace is just opposite my favourite bar so I know it quite well and unless I was very stuck for some place to stay I would not stay there ,the pool is about the size of half a dozen normal baths and is way to small for swimming, and the rest of the place could do with a good clean.I have seen worse but not often.

There are many places along Soi Buakaow, one needs to get out and check out the places. I've seen many that advertise daily, weekly and monthly rates, so if your staying for more than 6 days you'll get a discount at those places.

Thanks for the replies guys...does anyone know the current rates of places menbtioned above?

"Duan Nam Ing" quoted me 1,000 per night during high season. I imagine that it will be about 700~800 per night after high season. The rooms were nothing special, just the standard boxy type like J&P, Opey de Place etc. But the place is new and I have not heard any reports from anyone who has stayed there so there are no comments on water pressure, hot water, cable TV etc.

One thing was strange... the hand rail going from the ground floor up to the next level was very low... felt like it was made for kids.

forest51,

If you really are looking for a place in Soi Bukaow, then I would suggest booking a place and then getting out your walking shoes. Start at one end of the soi and go to town.
