I just thought it was very obvious, and tonight i was proved right. If you don't have a problem with it, so be it. It's your Forum.

 

I have a good mate who had a bad overall experience last year at Canterbury Tales. He was an Addicts Board member, started a Thread about it, the Thread was deleted, and he was banned, just for that. So i was interested in reading the CT's Thread, and when i seen, what to me, looked like 'Logan' was really Dave, bigging the place up as someone else, i followed the Thread, and tonight i pulled him.

No smoke without fire, but anyone could get a friend named Bob, to claim he is Logan. We all know that. I don't believe it for one moment, why ??? because I have seen the same happen on 2 other forums. Coincidence ??? perhaps, but what are the chances ?

 

If that makes me a Muppet or whatever, I am happy to have the title ...........................for now. Without wishing to sound arrogant, I am not often wrong about these things,

 

However, when you meet "Bob" be sure to ask him what email address he signed up with to this forum, which only YOU and HIM will know. Its like a KEY to the door. But then again, if they are one of the same, then he could be told that in advance. So you have to make your own judgement

 

If he gives you the correct answer, then I am happy to admit being a muppet or a cunt, whatever, and will make a public apology for my part in this. No probs. We can all be wrong and it would be no shame for me.

 

However, I am not calling Logan a muppet, I just think that he and Dave are one of the same people. That is what I believe.

Yup, I've seen it too. Dave always has "suspicious" posts about his place on the forums. He was busted red handed on Secrets.

 

I might stay there just so somebody other than Dave can review the place.

I spoke to Dave today, and he told me logan is out of town, but will be returning shortly.

 

It's not conclusive, but knowing Dave helps in making him credible, at least to me.

I dont know whether Dave is any of those things, nor have I implied such. So Logan was not in town, yet only yesterday he said that Dave would direct you to him. I guess that is a little strange, but these things happen, I guess. Using a doupler to advertise a business does not make him mean-spirited or viciously jealous, it just means that he is artificially bumping his business on an internet forum. If these guys are in fact two separate people then I should have thought that it could be verified quite easily, but you must agree when surely, when going through this thread, that it does look a little fishy. If it were just one person who noticed it, then perhaps it could be seen as a coincidence, but several have also noticed the pattern, and the reply post "slip up"

 

None of this makes a great deal of difference to his business, as negative advertising has impact, just as positive advertising and his place has not been slated off here as far as I know. I think the main point being made, is should a member have 2 different accounts, and in this case, with the sole purpose of promoting their business ??? Whist "Logan" could be an independent, he has not done Dave any favours, although maybe not intentionally.

I've just had independant info that Dave and Logan are indeed, one and the same.

 

Bob does exist, but is not Logan.

 

This can be verified MM by using the pic 'Logan' claimed to be him, the one to the left of the pic, is indeed Dave's Brother, not Bob..........so that can be checked out using the pic, as you already said you would.

 

Personally, i'm not bothered what you or anyone else thinks, i have no agenda, other than i took an interest in the Threrad, after my mate had a bad experience at CT, started a Thread to highlight it on Addicts, which was deleted, and he was banned

I understand why he would do it, but i don't think it's fair for other BM's reading the reports, and maybe book and have a bad experince there, the same as my mate did.
