newbie needs lodging help

After much research I have to decide between these 4:

 

lk royal - 1 bed suite $83

lk renaissance - 1 bed suite $106 - delux $97 - superior $70

lk metro - 1 bed suite $106 - superior w bal $75

residence garden - 1 bed suite $41

 

Which one would you choose?

I wouldn't chose any of them unless I had money to burn. Instead, I'd look around for a good guesthouse like the Metro Apartments or the Pasadena Lodge or any of the others in the area. They should be about 800 baht or so. What's that? $25.

That'll leave you some extra money for other activities.

Based on location I would choose any of the LK's over the RG. Also the LKs have fitness centers (at least the Metropole) if that a priority.

Why not just book a few nights and then go look at all of them and then decide?

The LK Ren. 1-bedroom suite is VERY nice. I just left a suite in MGM Grand Vegas (God knows what it would have cost) and it had nothing over LK Ren's suite.

 

IMHO the Ren beats the Metro. I would drop the LK Royal from the list.

 

RG is fine, but one notch down, Expect nice decently large clean rooms. You really need to decide how much you want to spend.
