walk up discounts at lk renaissance or metropole?

despite trying on numerous occasions it seems the lk group have no intention of replying to any of my emails to various addresses including the "card".

 

so has anyone got any idea of the walk up rates at these hotels at the moment or can you get the FLB rate if you mention whilst wanderring in off the street?

 

I'm arriving in under 3 weeks and as it stands i'm sleeping on the beach!

 

or should i just cut my losses and book at PBR again??

I have just received a reply from the LK Metropole after using the "card" .

I asked about a 1 month stay but have been quoted 48000 for a superior room .......no discount

I fancied a change this year from areca and have sent lk 4 emails for 3 rooms end of april for 21 nights. I thought they may have shown an interest but No emails even acknowledged. Has given us bad vibes. I like the look and reviews of pbr and am considering them now or might just cut our losses and go back to the areca.

What email addresses are you using? Their spam filter seems overly aggressive. I was getting no response from them through Gmail or Yahoo, but once I switched to a private domain, they responded quickly.

The more expensive room has a walk in shower in the bathroom. The cheaper one has a tub with a spray wand that you have to hold in your hand. I think that is the only difference.

I have just booked 30 nights a Superior room at the LK Metropole for 38400. I sent an email to their general address and did ask for the FLB rate. I did not try and send a ''card''. I thought it was a good rate so snapped it up. They wanted 10000 baht deposit which I did over the phone. The email reponses from the Metropole were quite quick and efficient.

If you can't get a response via email then I would book a few nights elsewhere and try for a walk in. I am sure that they are looking to fill their rooms.

thankyou to everyone who replied to my request, i have now bookd pattaya bay resort again, who replied to my email within 2 minutes!!!

 

if lk group have empty rooms then it's all down to their poor communication.

I just made a reservation at the LK Renaissance for 10 days using their email and received a quick reply and confirmation.
