It's just two days away to the great 100,000 baht beer giveaway.

 

We have been busy preparing for an expected rush. Extra glasses have been provided by our supplier, the beer is here and hopefully we are ready to go. I really have no idea what will happen but the buzz seems to be around town, lots of girls have expressed an interest in helping to empty the kegs and plenty of guys are keen to see if they can drink us dry as well.

 

I hope it is not too chaotic.

 

Everyone will be issued with standard checks as they order but they will show 0 baht. That will help me keep on top of things although if it all goes really crazy we may just go with Plan B - hand out the beer as fast as we can pour it. The staff are a bit worried about what will happen but they are excited too. The day staff plan to stay on after their shift to help drink as well (very kind of them).

 

Hope to see you Friday from 4 pm for a free beer or three.

Hey Pete, glad all is going well over there..still at sea but forced to head back to the USA for the first time in over four years because of documents expiring..but instead of hanging out in the US for 10-14 weeks I intend on spending my waiting time in Pattaya ..that is if the Swine flu problem does'nt stop me from getting into Thailand

 

keep us all updated on the traval restrictions getting into Thailand ect..ok?

Well we moved a lot of beer

 

I think all who turned up (and there were a lot) enjoyed themselves. The Heineken lasted till 10:30pm and we squeezed out the last drop of Tiger at 11:30pm.

 

The staff hate me coz they worked there butts off but they forgave me in the end (probably because we kept one keg back for the staff to drink after closing).

 

All in all a fun day.

It was my first day of 2nd trip to patts. Arrived at PBG at 3.50pm. got a heiniken bottle and ordered chicken cashew nut. 4.00pm food served ordered a heiniken draught. Eating delicious food, a couple of nice freelancers at the bar and loads of people streaming in. Get another draught. Finish food and get another draught. Have another draught and a smoke. Place is filling up. 1 more smoke and 1 more draught. I'm feeling pretty pissed. Check bin, about 160 baht, this is ridiculasly cheap for 5 beers and food so I tip 90 baht. Place is pretty packed when I leave.

 

I return about 11 or 12pm with BF Nok from FLB. We have a couple of drinks and some food. I had green curry and Nok, I don't remeber, but hers was very nice too.

 

I return a few nights later with another girl for a couple of drinks and a feed. I order green curry again cause it was so good a couple of nights before, again thai girl orders something I don't remember and don't think I can pronounce, but it is delicious.

 

PBG has a great view, excellent food and service. The girls agreed. Probably would have never found this place without the promotion, well done Pete. I will always visit when in patts.
