Party time @ TQ2 - Friday 12th June 2009

Friday 12th June 2009

Welcome Back RightSaid Party

I must admit I've never been so cold, bored and sober in all my life. Still it's good to be with family in much happier circumstances than my previous visit.

Now it's time to look forward to my return. :D  :D :clap2 :clap2

To celebrate I'll be having a welcome back party in TQ2 on Friday 12th June. :party :party :party :party

In addition to the usual great Rock n Roll music, Icy cold drinks, Sexy ladies and the usual TQ2 hospitality. We'll also have some of the most delicious western buffet food in town.

So if you are in town, why not come on down and say hello? and I'll do my best to make sure you have a great time in TQ2.

Doors Open 8pm.

ps. For the last 8 weeks I've hardly touched a drop of alcohol so please be gentle on me. :D

My head hurts.

Many thanks to all those who came in, it was a great night, all because of you.

You're out of practice...you left your party at 1am! :allright

I stayed until about 2, btw. I made a big mistake buying that round for a bunch of folks, because everyone then bought me one back.

Good to see you again.

Now, everyone, come to my going away party tonight.

And, I'll be having a Welcome Back Martin party on the 24th when I return. :D

Oh, and yes, my head hurts too.

As a postscript to last night's party, I was too mao to take my bike home, so I left it parked on Pratumnak near Soi Diamond and took a mototaxi home.

When I went back to check on it today, it turns out I was in a no parking area and the bike was gone. I park on Pratumnak about once every 6 months, but never left the bike there over night. Now I know.

A taxi ride to Soi 9, then off into the hinterlands of Soi Khaopai way up on Pattaya Tai recovered the bike.

Just in case anyone's curious, the recovery fee for the bike is 400baht (although oddly, my receipt said 300b :D ).

Now that is funny!

About $12 bucks for towing and storage and graft is not bad. Imagine how much it would be here in CA

As promised here a few photos from the party.

Sorry there aren't more but I was wedged in by a couple of ladies and I couldn't move.

I hope you understand.

Not bad? It's about two days pay for a Thai on minimum wage. Bloody expensive if you ask me!
