can you believe this could happen even in the USA :wtf lucky it was not a gangster with a gun they would have used nuclear weapons.

A young boy is still "barking" for his dog to come home after police tasered, then shot dead, the family pet on their front porch.

US police in Cincinnati killed Jack, the Bullock family's Chihuahua-mix pet, after an officer was bitten on the hand, WCPO reports.

The small dog had been Tasered, then shot at twice by police.

A third gunshot killed the dog.

Scott and Sharon Bullock discovered the dog's blood and three bullets on their porch after returning from a funeral last Friday.

They called the local police station and discovered what had happened to Jack, who was a birthday present for their 12-year-old son.

They said they were told that two officers had cornered the dog, when it began biting one on the hands. Police said the officers had "no option" but to shoot the dog.

Mr Bullock said his five-year-old son was distraught by the killing.

Lieutenant Paul Hartinger from the Blue Ash police department told WCPO that the officers had no choice but to shoot the dog after it had attacked them and other people.

"As badly as the officer was getting bitten, he had to do something to protect himself," Mr Hartinger said.

"They first chose physical means, then a Taser, and when those two didn't work, he had no option but to shoot the dog."

Police say the dog had bitten the officer 17 times on one hand and nine times on the other.

Spoken like a true hero asshole.

Its people with those kind of prejudiced opinions that cause just about all the major problems of the world.

For the record, I think paris is a good movie star. I only saw the one movie... and the light was awful, and the performance was a bit bland, but it was a good flick all the same :D

thank god we all dont have the same opinions eh, or this board would be a bloody boring place to while away our time!!

what i hate about that general "fashion statement" is its generally fake airheads with personality of their own, and b4 you berrate me for saying that, yes ive dated a few and stand by my last post, although slaughteringg paris may be a bit harsh, maybe just a bit of waterboarding as this seemm to be the torture of choice at the mo!!!!

also what happens to those little rat fcuking dogs when they aint in fashion any more....they end up in dogs homes as they are cast out ready for the next "craze" as widley pubisised in the papers and on TV ATM.

Good word substitution "flick" - more inventive than fuxk.

Personally, I think that all US cops issued with tasers should have to undergo being tasered before they are allowed one, like Air Force pilots are waterboarded. Might make them think a bit harder before they whip it out (so to speak).

US Air Force pilots have to go to the Royal Naval College? Jeez, I am really behind the curve. When the hell did THAT service integration start?

again read the post b4 u quote it mate, i clearly stated my son has elisted as at the royal naval college in dartmouth and has not joined the dumb US airFARCE as he is not fond of blowing up allied forces with friendly fire

and yes naval pilots have to go to the college first. do you think they just let em loose in 30 million quids worth of fighter jet....although looking at some of the US pilots i think thats what they do

The reading comprehension failure is yours. In a conversation about the United States, I further stipulated my post was about the United States - police and Air Force. Even capitalised it for the last-chancers. Of course, 10 per cent never get it at all. I can't help that.

But since you failed that one, here's a simpler one: What IS your son fond of blowing up?

yet again another failure of your's to read my post, as i clearly stipulated he has enlisted and enrolled into the college so i doubt he is fond of blowing anything up yet.

But i bet my last pound sterling he wont be as trigger happy as u yanks are up there patrolling the skies "KEEPING US SAFE"

oh the irony of it.

Many police and sheriff's departments do just that. Same goes for pepper spray. You can see videos all over the net of cops training with the taser guns. They feel that if an officer knows how the tasers feel, they will be better able to determine when would be appropriate to use them, same same for pepper spray.

I think it might have been a bit excessive to have tasered, then shot a chihuahua 3 times. I mean you can practically drop kick the dogs 50yds., and your telling me that 2 cops couldn't get a small dog like that under control? Don't cops still carry pepper spray, that as I recall was the first thing they used on dogs and 100% effective.

As with any story though, I guess its one of those things you had to be there to be able to make that kind of judgment call.

Let's stop here for a short review.

You don't comprehend what I wrote.

You no longer know that you specifically wrote to to me to tell me what your son is NOT fond of blowing up - and now claim he doesn't know a thing about blowing up anything at all.

And then you divine my nationality over the wireless Internet connection I'm typing on.

Is that about it? Anything more to add to your CV?

Heh. You could say. I once had one of those horrible little dogs run out at me yapping and headed for me, and the hostess said, "Don't worry, he won't hurt you," and I replied, "That's for sure."

And I'm not even a very good punter.

Um. I'm the person answering your post about your son. Remember?

Well, maybe not. You are the most forgetful poster I ever have run across. I'd suggest you re-read the thread each time you reply, but you'd forget to do that. I just read the other day about the development of a five-minute test for Alzheimer's. Your performance leaves no doubt in mind it would work. You make a post, wait five minutes and forget you made it.
