8 Years Now -- Remembering

It has been 8 years now and we will never forget.

 

Remembering all the children, women and men who lost their lives; and those brave

people who gave their lives on 11 September 2001.

 

Our thought will be with the friends and families who still mourn their loses.

 

Do take a moment to remember and reflect.

 

May I kindly ask that this thread not be used for argumentative or polarized posts as it is not the time or place.

Also for the mods to help in this regard.

In many respects, unfortunately so.

Though I (by birth) am not really an American, this event has burned a mark for life.

It puzzles me how many American (and others alike) are forgetting it or sweeping it under the rug.

Rest assured that unless someone else does not beat me to it ... I will repeat this thread EVERY year.

I do want to thank those with an opposing views who saw my plea for not making argumentative or polarizing posts for refraining from doing so.

I hope that our tendency to forget (or to let time heal) does not leave another opportunity for a repeat.
