The Vault is a popular location near Marine Plaza (and WS).

 

I can't recall the name, but Evil Penevil wrote about a place just up Beach Road near MacDonalds that had a nice penthouse suite. nohlsson1 stayed there on his last trip. I heard it's pretty nice.

 

What's your budget?

 

Nova Platinum is nice I hear, a short walk to WS on Pratumnak.

 

And Secrets or Galaxy Suites very near WS.

1,000 a night max. But want to bring costs down for more time in asia.

 

Mykl - I dont have a problem with Secrets. Just because I critisize some things it does, Im just giving an opinion. And BTW, its a reasonable price , but the taxi service is a hefty 1800bht Say hello if your there at the same time And we can inspect what you get for 1,000bht BF

 

MLC - I usually stay LK Metro /Buakaow thanks, but want a change of scenery, different persective And last time,I knew so many people around there, it was difficult to go anywhere without stopping with someone for a drink. But the Rovers does seem to get a good name.

imho, those TGs are just your normal BG available at 300bht BF all over town.

 

Thanks for the room pics. Look fine, and would save me 100bht every time I would normally hire a baht bus to go to Buakaow area. Secrets was the front runner, but they want too much info to book. Home address etc. Their owners are a secret. I dont know why. But Im not about to give all my info to people who are so secretive.

Is there any way just to book, without giving your inside leg measurement?

I have never given them my home address or phone number. Use the link on the home page, request your dates, give an email addy where they can respond to and hit enter. You will get an email telling you what's available for those dates. You can then accept and confirm or walk away. No cc info is required ahead of time, or at all if you pay cash. 2000 baht deposit up front refundable upon checkout minus anything used from the mini bar. You pay on checkout and, again, no cc is required ahead of time so if you pay cash no worries. I used my visa card with no problems.

 

I like this place obviously but they do take good care of you. You are thirty seconds from Walking Street so if none of the ladies strike your fancy there are hundreds, if not thousands, mere moments away. They are girl friendly and you can bring as many as you can fit in the room. No tub but the shower is easily able to handle social occasions. I have not brought any girls in from outside into the bar but people I've talked to say there is no problem doing so and the girls are treated politely. Royal Garden Plaza, Central Mall, Mike Shopping and Tukom are all minutes away by baht bus, as is Soi Diana, or if you feel in the mood to stroll you can do that too. There is a decent massage place half dozen steps from the hotel or bar doors. Excellent foot, oil and Thai massage and at least one of the girls will do extras. They will also come to your room. I used the taxi service but yes, it is a bit steep. I like the convenience of walking out from customs and finding my driver mere steps away.

Mykl.- Tried Secrets like you said thanks. Didnt fill in the full form, but they still replied promptly. They only have a superior room for the days I wanted. Busy, busy , busy The more I think about WS locations instead of buakaow/ Dianna, it makes a lot of sense.

It's been a few years since I stayed there. The condo I stayed in was a large studio with kitchenette. Big shower area and larger room then the big room I stay in at Sky-Top.

Strickly my opinion, but I'd pass on Yensabai. Room was ok, nothing special, but the building was worn when I was there about 3 years ago. Not a real bad walk to WS time-wise, but the building location was not a nice area, and the naked guy in the wheelchair roaming the hallways was just plain weird
