Chiang Mai - Raming Lodge

Heading up to Chiang Mai for a few days break from Patts in January.

 

The Raming Lodge seems to be great value for money, central to the nightlife and quite stylish rooms etc. I read some reviews on the web which mention 500B joiner fee and some that say no joiner fee....any recent visitors to this hotel that could clarify...?

 

Any alternative reccomendations visited recenly with no joiner fee and close to the nightlife ?

Cant help with Raming but can tell you the Montri Hotel doesnt charge a joiners fee.

I've emailed them twice to ask if they have smoking rooms because in agoda or asiarooms they are listed as all non smoking.

Sent a message on their contact form and email to info@raminglodge.com but haven't heard back in 3-4 days.

Looking elsewhere now, something similar to Pattaya Bay Resort preferably.
