Has anyone had any experiences about there girlfriend being scared of ghosts?

 

i was seeing a lady and one of her family members had died recently, with ever creek of the floorboards she thought a ghost was coming and used to get really scared then say something like go away ghost in Thai ! she genuinly believed in this ?

Absolutely. Thais are roughly as much into ghosts and believing in ghosts and fearing ghosts as the English. As a bonus, Thais make MUCH scarier movies about ghosts than anyone else on Earth.

Yes, a few have mentioned them. Funniest one was in BKK when I was visiting a girl's room. A very small loom although she was neither poor nor a BG. I asked 'Why such a tiny room?' Answer: 'If have bigger room, too many goats can come in.' (.... ah! goats = ghosts! Kowjai. 55)

 

Many Thais were wary of going back to Khao Lak, Phuket, Phi Phi etc after the tsunami because of the ghosts of the drowned.
