this place looks good , thank you , any more you or anyone else can suggest

It’s a couple of years since I stayed at the Sabai lodge and I cant remember a room safe, but that may be old age catching up on me.

If you stay anywhere between Beach Road and 2nd Road from soi 1 up you’ll be well served for cheap and cheerful transport and Walking St will never be far away. Soi 7 and 8 can get a little noisy so if you’re a light sleeper beware of that. This may help you find your hotel in relation to bars etc;

Have a good look round this section there’s 1000’s of threads on various hotels round Pattaya

Sabai Lodge is a short baht bus ride less then five minutes from Walking Street depending on traffic. Easy to get back to late at night as many baht buses go down 2nd Road.

with all due respect mate, im sure you would find lots of information doing a google search

eg

search for " hotels on soi 1 pattaya"(or whatever soi you are after) or "hotels on beach road" or "hotels on 2nd road" etc, etc, etc

all the major places to visit are reachable with a simple bus journey which costs a few cents

have a good one

hope im not being too harsh

:D

Sabai lodge has in-room safes. Also worth mentioining that baht buses to walking street go past hotel on Soi 2. WS and Soi 2 are pretty much at opposite ends of beach road but only a 5-10 minute baht bus ride.

Sabai Resort has some good rooms but proably marginally more expensive. Personally I don't rate the breakfast at the Sabai places but there are plenty of other places to eat within easy reach.

Enjoy your stay wherever you choose.

Fair enough suggesting to use the search engine on here but now we have to use goggle to find the answer before we can ask a question. Whats the point of a forum like this then

I am 50/50 about coming back on 16th of March, have a major clients whose work needs completing before I am in a position to up and leave but if I do go ill be at Sabai Lodge. Agree with pretty much everything you say only eaten the breakfast there once for a number of reasons , 1 its just average 2, the time breakfast finishes , 3, plenty of better and cheaper options nearby.

Its my hotel of choice and they have some pretty good specials on at the moment
