I use Air Asia between China and Thailand every time I make the trip. I find the problem with these offers is that you can not change your flight dates. Once they are booked, if you don't fly on that day, you lose the ticket. This little issue causes me not to purchase any of my tickets with them no sooner than 48 hours before I want to fly. Sometimes the same day.

I like the airline, and the cost of the flights. I just can't justify booking a trip with them 4 months in advance, and expect not to possibly change my dates.

Not true at all. It costs you, but you can change your dates. It still makes it worthwhile buying the tickets at the offer price if you are likely to change only one of your dates.

Hmmm? That's news to me. I was told on two occasions by Air Asia people that I could not reschedule my flight. Maybe it is you can not reschedule within 24 hours of the flight leaving? What's the charge to change dates?

You can't reschedule less than 48 hours prior to travel.

For international routes - 950 Baht plus any difference in fares for aircraft operated by Thai Air Asia - it may be slightly different for those operated by Air Asia or Indonesia Air Asia.

Same throughout the network, you have to pay any increase in the fare between what you origianly booked and what they are asking at the time of changing.

Air Asia Thailand are increasing their prices on some routes by a very large percentage, i booked, and used, 2 flights from bkk to bali last year both at BT 1990 plus taxes etc, earlier this year they put the flights up to BT 3107 and since then they have put them up to BT 3857 (or close enough to that) so hope that this isnt a bad sign for the rest of the flights throughout Thailand.

Exactly.I made a change to my Macau trip last year and even with the change fee and fare diff,it was still a bargain because the original ticket was so cheap.
