Penang!

Am considering going to Penang for a run between visas next trip. Will not need to apply for a visa there, just need to exit Thailand between visas already granted.

 

Never been to Penang. Have been to KL, but not enthused about returning there.

 

How is the mongering in Penang. Is it so expensive as KL? Budget Hotel recommendations appreciated.

Been to Penang and didnt like it one bit. Full of locals and as a foreigner I didnt feel welcome at all pus the place is overpriced.

 

Better stick to Kuala Lumpur for mongering and head to the Beach Club. Doesnt have to be expensive at all just wait till clsoing time and they'll gladly go home with you for 50 Ringit.

I have to agree with Echo on this one. KL is a much better choice. The only thing I find particularly pricey at Beach Club are the beers. I spent more on beers in there than I did on the Chinky's I took home from there.

As has been said, I would not recommend it for mongering. However, Hat Yai is OK back over past the Thai border, thats where a lot of Malaysians go for sex.

You're better off flying to Had Yai and taking a van to the border at Dannok. Plenty of cheap P4P in both Dannok and Had Yai.

Penang isn't what you are looking for. I took the TGF and stayed at a beach resort, and had a good trip. Nice beaches, good seafood, expensive relative to LOS.

Not really a mongering place.... why not Phnom Pehn?

Dunno mate havent been 1,5 years. Have to say its my favorite bar in the world though despite the high prices for the booze. You can just smell the sleaze when you walk in. Even FL clubs like Marine and Insomnia cant come close to the Beach Club

Did you ever see that plonker bartending acting like Captain Jack? First time I was in there, I about gave his head a wobble for takin the piss. Turns out he was puttin on a show. I thought he was twistin me tits.

 

It is deffo in my top 3 all time favorites. You been to the LA Cafe in Manila? That's my all time favorite. Followed by the Viking Bar in Cebu. Then I would say the Beach Club is next.

LOl think I remember him juggling with cocktail shakers and shit. Never been Philippines mate but its on the to-do list. Dont know why but the Flippas do create a certain buzz I havent experience with the Thai girls. They're just as if not madder than their Thai counterparts though bunch of fucking bunny boilers

Last time there I was propositioned walking through the night market at Batu Ferengi Beach by two lovely Malay girls. Unfortunately the wife was about 10 paces behind me and put a stop to that quickly. Not the place I would go for PiP but they are there.
