For those who love "Soi Sex" and are willing to spend the extra Baht for luxury, this is a great value (2100 Baht/night)

A 7 foot wide bed, with 4 pillows, a balcony overlooking Soi Sex, WIFI, a huge TV with DVD/Home Theater speakers, a jacuzzi with TV and a very comfortable sofa.

A shower area is seperate from the jacuzzi, also has an in room safe.

The food is outstanding downstairs, as is Vic the owner.

What I've always wondered about Soi Six is what it's like very late at night? The daytime is no problem, but what is it like at 3AM? And how do you get into the Queen Vic late at night? Through the back door? What is that Soi like late at night?

From my limited knowledge gained from driving up it a few times, its dark, smelly and full of ladyboys who try and stop you even whilst you are driving your motorbike.

In other words, if you're staying on Soi 6, you'd better go to bed early!

That's what I mean. Let's say you're down on Walking Street until 3AM. You take the baht bus back to Soi 6, but by then the place is deserted except for a bunch of ladyboys who are up to no good.

looks nice, but I think I'll stick with their room for 900b that's not much smaller & minus the sofa & chairs

Walk down Soi 6/1 and use the rear entrance(outer stairs). The QV has a security guard, or did a few years ago when I stayed there.

Ladyboys were not a problem (I think they hang out a little farther down the soi, near beach road).
