I just tried to log onto Pattaya-Live. Not happening.

 

Here is the message posted:

 

 

"sorry lads , its not busy enough on the forum for me to be bothered paying for it , administraiting and moderating it .

 

its a waste of my time and my money .

 

so its going offline for now .

 

its a case of use it or lose it , and today its lose it ."

 

 

Too bad, I rather enjoyed reading many of the posts there. Seemed more frequented by expats, semi-expats and/or people who visit Patts several times a year and hung out on the LK side of town, but, that's what made it interesting to me. Different point of view.

 

Oh well. RIP

Will be back up soon IMO. Mulph is just trying to prove a point, anyone can see that the forum gets his bar business, he'd be daft to drop the revenue. Who knows, maybe telling his posters off for not posting enough will work :)

While i agree with you Bigleg, the addicts need to get their fix. If the can't get it from PL they will go to another dealer! If Mulphy has taken it off hoping to get more people posting when it's back online, i think he's shot himself in the foot bigtime! Maybe some will post more for while, and i have no doubt that will happen, people being nosy, wanting to know what's going on ect. But i have also no doubt that some will have found other dealers, and maybe will not come back.

 

In the small time i'm on Pattaya Forums, PL, for me, was/is the best, has the best posters, and most 'real' board out there. But this is only my personal view.

 

I think maybe Mulphy's new little one, and the extra stress and not so much time is maybe a factor here, but hey, what do i know.....

 

But it does say in hs message 'use it or lose it' so i think and hope it will be back online by the weekend.

Though i have to say, apart from Gun and Mr P, who is all over these Forum's like a rash :D , i havn't really seen any other Mods on PL recently......but we all have lives too.....well apart from Pastry

What Mulph needs to realise is that, like himself, people actually have lives, I'd love to post here more, I don't. I have a job in BKK that demands my attention. I AM a lurker 'cus' I can read while I'm working, Don't have the time or if I'm honest, the inclination to respond . Not a slant on the forums, just me. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Toys out of pram - not good and very selfish of Mulphy, I hope its down to stress.

 

Lets hope he sees sense and reloads the gun. The forum PL ticks along nicely, its Mulphy's expecations which are too high.

I'm the exact same mate. I've only been active on Pattaya Forums for about 1 year, PL being by far the one i post on most. I also look in here and Punter69 daily, but only really post if it's something i have an interest in. Why? Cos there's not enough hours i the day, i have a job and a life :D

 

I like PL most, but i like here and Punter as well, just havn't got the time. I can't understand people who post on the three i've mentioned, Secrets and the many others :kissing Do they have a gimp to post for them, cos i don't know where they get the time :hairout But if they can do it, then happy days, i just physically can't!

How the fuck can you guys describe a board full of lapdog yesmen ran by a violent autocratoc megalomaniac as the best Pattaya board.

 

For fucks sake you guys were not allowed to discuss just how good New Plaza was over there.

 

This is the guy that threatened papillon with phsycial harm for giving an honest opinion on his bar.

 

I hope that his board does open up again and the best of good luck to him and his bar. .... I wouldn't feel safe drinking there so I won't be spending any money there.

I'd sure think so.

 

The board is very active considering the relatively small amount of regular posters. We cant all sit on our arse 7 days a week and post on the board. I've been busy with work, travelling, family stuff and now moving into my new apartment by the end of the month.

 

If I had as much free time as guys like Hanibal I'd be spending all my days at Soi New Plaza anyway :D

It's all about opinions mate, as i said, that is just my personal view. You are entitled to yours, as i'm entitled to mine :D

Evening Gazza.....if i'm honest, i do think it was quite a selfish thing to do.....but with the new baby ect, maybe he's under more stress that we know.
