I have a huge amount of miles in my Qatar account but no reason to use them other than on their Singapore - Bali flights. The Bangkok - Hanoi/HCMC option is great now they are offering those legs for miles.

I have Vietnam on my radar so a multi-stop flight (stop-over in Thailand) then return home from Vietnam sounds like just the ticket. Maybe Xmas next year.

Not sure of the legalities of it but I am guessing so.

Plenty of other airlines offer their onwards for sale to Bangkok boardings... BA on to Sydney being quite a lucrative example.

They're advertising the return flights at 8.8k Baht, but when you book they are offering 6.4k Baht.
