Hub it may actually be good value for Denny. In the past I asked him how much of a discount he received and what he paid for his room. I never got a price from him so maybe he's getting a discount from all his hyping of the place and only paying 100 baht a night. what I do know is that when Jack stayed there in early 2006 for about 7 months waiting for his condo to be completed, he paid I believe it was 18K a month which is definetly not good value.

I can't disagree with anything you have said above. BigD touting Skytop or going on about his international political connections is similarly unbelievable.

 

Next we'll hear that Andropov and Kissinger recommend Skytop above all other accommodations in Pattaya, because they are "good value for the baht".

 

BigD is a shill, but I have no idea why. I cannot figure what he gets out of it except the chance to be shown up as someone who would lead BMs to a shit hole without remorse, only to make a point.

No he doesn't. Like I said I pay the same as every board member. During high season, I pay the full rate. Low season I pay the same discounted rate as other board members.

I've never asked any BM thats stayed at Sky-Top what they paid. Once again none of my business. .

Sky-Top has different rates for different size rooms that vary according to the time of year, occupancy levels and the owners mood at the time the guy asks. Up to the BM to negotiate the best rate he can get. IMHO Sky-Top is good value for the Baht.

I've been a supporter of the FLB for many years on this forum and BKKTONITE. Have I ever asked you for a discount? What about free drinks, reduced barfine. I've known PattayaPete back when he owned the FLB. I never asked him for a discount. Fast forward to today and I'm a big supporter of the Pattaya Beer Garden. Once again I've never asked him for free drinks, meals. Same goes for Ben over at Secrets. I've never asked him for a discount. Once again, I pay the same price other board members pay.

Well I can attest to the fact that I've known BigD for many many years and he has often posted nice things about my places on the forums. He has never asked me for any discount.
