What is the nearest Golf Course to Pattaya, i have played Bangphra , but thats a whole day expereince.

I am looking for a course neaby that if I go to Soi 6 for a short time my mate can catch a cab play a quick 9 holes and be back at the hotel within 2 hours.

Which Course is the closest, and what are the costs involved eg Taxi, green fees , club hire etc

I don't think there are any that close to pattaya. 2 hours including the trip out and back, plus 9 holes? Not going to happen.

Siam Country Club and Siam Plantation are likely the closest. Taxi will take 30 minutes or so to get there.. Motorbike about the same.

Phoenix isn't too far south - probably 45 minutes.

Either of those are closer then Burapha (I assume thats what you meant above).

Callum with Solar Golf can give you much better info

The short course at The Asia Hotel up near the Birds and the Bees Resort, a mere 5 mins drive from Walking Street, is probably the closest and Kinaree is just up the road! :P :clap1

For a full size course Pheonix is about 30 mins away.

This sounds what were looking for, when you say short course is it all par threes.

Is it a proper course, with proper greens and a golfer off a 20 handicap would be happy enough to play to fill in a few hours,?

Is their a website i can have a look at?

It's a nine hole course ideal for practice.

All par-3s.

BTW, this hotel is very guest unfriendly, not the place to stay for a monger.
