I keep hearing this is an American or Yank board, and based on Google statistics, about 1/3 of our traffic comes from the Americas, and the rest is European, Asian, or Australian.

I just browsed today's top 20 posters, and 4 of them were American, and the rest were from elsewhere. The top 5 were UK guys, but that was mostly bickering in Purgatory that skewed the numbers.

Anyway, it's time for our annual poll on where do you come from?

I'm using broad based geographical areas, so pick the one that contains your country of origin....not where you currently live.

Sorry, I missed that.

I've changed Australia to Australasia, which is defined as Australasia is the area that includes Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea, and the many smaller islands in the vicinity, most of which are the eastern part of Indonesia.

The British Isles are a group of islands off the northwest coast of continental Europe that include the islands of Great Britain and Ireland and over six thousand smaller islands.[6] There are two sovereign states located on the islands: the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (commonly known as the United Kingdom) and Ireland (also described as the Republic of Ireland).[7] The British Isles also include three dependencies of the British Crown: the Isle of Man and, by tradition, the Bailiwick of Jersey and the Bailiwick of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, although the latter are not physically a part of the island group.[8][9]

I'm from S.E. Connecticut. I think you should have listed New England as another universe. At the very least I live closer to Cork than Anchorage so I think it should be listed as the British Isles. I always wanted to live on an Isle. :thumbup
