How many now regret pushing prices to ridiculous levels during a bout of Madness when the Welfare Nanny State currencies experienced their last Delusional Overvaluation?

"Chickens coming home to roost" has a familiar ring to it.

Well that's about twice what it was before the Nanny Staters thought all their xmas's come at once when the Baht crashed (vis a vis the Welfare States) and celebrated by bidding prices up to their current levels.

Their governments followed suit later by demonstrating their equally naive understanding of all matters economic for which their economies, currencies etc will pay dearly for over the coming years and decades.

Problem is the Baht crash was short lived but the Debt Fueled Wefare State currencies are going Down for the Long Haul.

I agree I cant see the UK £ ever returning, the reason why most other countries have cleverer leaders with a decent strategic plan the Chinese wont do a UK.

The UK will never retrun and will get worse and worse over the years, earn more or spend less thats the way forward

Yes, I was also paying those prices in 1998 on my first visit. Not sure how you come up with the statement that these prices are twice what they were before the currency problems.??
