Has anyone ever played golf at night in Pattaya or do any of the courses even offer it?  Seems like a great way to beat the heat.  I know you might have hazzards like snakes and skeeters but, the hanky panky in the golf carts should more than make up for the hazzards.  Of course you might want your bring your own TG to caddy for you.  SB

saigon_butterfly,

I can see a number of possable hic-ups

1. It's dark

2. There are no lights

3. There are better things to do at night

4. And better places to do it

5. They are all closed   [smiley=cheers.gif]

Be nice

Not sure Saigon, I have never seen or played in Pattaya at night, I know there are a few courses in Bangkok that do night golf.

The only club I have seen (or noticed) with flood lights is Siam Country club, they have lights set up on the last four holes, but i think maybe only for rounds finishing in late afternoon.

Cheers

duece

The way I used to play, the ball would have to be luminous as I was never sure quite where or how far (or not, more often than not  ;D) the ball would go. I was actually mad enough to play golf in fog once many years ago.

The night golf balls are actually plastic with glo sticks inserted inside of them.  They also use the glo sticks for the cups on the greens.  Flashlights are a no no but, a full moon is permissable.  You really can't see your clubs striking the ball, therefor the trust your swing theory really comes into play.  Have only tried it once but, it was a nice way to kill a few sixpacks.  SB
