I have read the answers to the posts. The vast majority of them suggest that important football matches constitute "history." I'll go along with that, as I have witnessed many important football games over the years, for one thing I was in the Nou Camp in 1999 when my side created history by becoming the only English team ever to achieve the treble.

 

You call me a "thick cunt" which is very interesting to say the least. On the strength of one post I made that you disagree with you respond with vulgar language, not to mention the fact you can't even spell the word "offence." I would say that your inability to respond with a counter that doesn't involve crude and vulgar language, not to mention your woefully inadequate usage of English speaks volumes about you. It suggests that you are in actual fact the "thick cunt."

 

Did you not detect the sarcasm in my previous post? Or perhaps that's another concept that goes over your intellectual head? I look forward to your next instalment of vulgar and erroneous use of English. I can't wait........

For any ex-pats that worked at Wood end and Birch coppice collieries you may have not heard they are doing a rememberence wall and by filling out a simple form will have your names engraved into the bricks within that wall.

You never "relegated" United. The citeh game previous to that when United legend Denis Law scored the famous back heeled goal was the goal that ensured their fate. United were already "relegated" before the game you are referring to was even played. Sorry to shatter your allusion. There's two things that you won't ever get to see before you die, one is that you won't ever see your team win a trophy of any worth and the other is that you won't play United in the last game of the season before they get relegated.

Not sure Jacko,but staying in the premiership is number one mate.WE reduced the size of the pitch at the Brittania and struggle on a big pitch,but Bolton arent a realy good ball passing side are thye.Its 50/50 in my mind,but we have hit some form lately so i will say,yes,we will get to the final

I'm not sure if this one qualifies, but it did for me. I was at Edwards Air Force Base in California to watch the space shuttle Challenger land on its maiden flight. Quite an inspiring event to witness, and even more so now in retrospect as it's the one the blew up on a few years later.

I believe I was in a training course in the USA when that happened... (the explosion), and someone came into the lab and announced it. Most of the guys were Americans and were quite shocked. That was in Pittsburgh PA, when Americans owned American companies (Westinghouse). Later the HQ went to Orlando FL and having a Spaceshuttle fly over with the accompanying double sonic boom was quite commonplace.
