The 75th Masters Golf Tournament Augusta Georgia

Recommended Posts

Good for the African. Just wondering if there was some mistake and what happened to the rest of his name when he was born?

Felt a bit for the Australians, three of them right there but not quite. Felt for poor Rory - with every camera on his every scratching of his balls, he blew up. That's a tough thing, with the whole world watching, poor guy. Tiger sure made Day Four interesting, he may not be back but he still can rivet them, can't he?

I'll have a couple of quid e/w on Luke Donald.

Hi,

Great minds... That was my bet until he won the par 3 contest.

Hi,

It will either make him or break him. He handled the media well I thought.

Hi,

I took 25/1 EW @ 1/4 odds places 1-5. It was good enough to turn an overall 120% profit for the weekend.

Great entertainment on the box ... I had trouble keeping up with the constantly changing permutations. Was feeling knackered today though .... and we've still got 'Pool-City tonight and ManU-Chelsea tomorrow to come.

Fantastic rebound round by Rory today in Malaysia...whilst his 64 and share of lead won't ease the sting from epic melt down of last weekend it will for sure put a demon or two to bed!

Watched the interview just after his final round at the Masters. He seems like a very level headed guy considering his age.

Even before the Masters "Our Rory" had struggled to finish off tournaments but he's only 21 (almost 22 yikes) and a great talent. I'm sure as he matures things will improve. At least he has the talent to keep putting himself into contention.

The nerves never come into play until the back nine on Sunday at Augusta.

This has always been so and always will be.

Spot on with this prediction !

It will give him great experience for the future.

Only a matter of time before he wins again, hopefully a major !

cheers rogero

I was with a group. A guy with us, with a very good handicap and the bragging rights teed off first to lead the way. Somehow he found a door size gap in a hedge to his right.... the ball followed the trajectory of the path and straight into the pro-shop. He played 8 further shots off the tee. Not counting air-shots.

I bet every golfer here has a similar melt-down story.

It's a game, as they say, played on a 5 inch course...............the gap between our ears.

Rory will recover. He's too good not to.

To be fair, it does help set him up for a future Masters win..... :thumbup

Hi,

I'm not aware of that. Have winners a good record in subsequent years ?

Don't know about "here" (probably you're right) but Kevin Na takes the cake. Get outta here Rory, you're an amateur at this blowup thing.

Tell me about it, I backed him for this weeks tourny and he had a 16 at one of the par 4s yikes.
