PMs still private on Pattayatalk

In case anyone was wondering, Pattayatalk has not installed PM reading modifications to the board software.

MM,will it have what I call the hover feature when you move the cursor over a thread title in the list of threads,it shows the entire OP w/o opening the thread? Cool feature and handy as hell.ADV Rider has had it for a long time.

I think so. You need to BLOCK them from sending PMs too.

 

Who's been harassing you? I can put them in the same group as villa so they can't send PMs at all

There is no native facility in the software to read PMs.

 

The board admin has to install an unsupported unofficial mod to read PMs.

 

This facility does not come from Invision, the authors of the board software.

I agree, a great feature and a big timesaver, especially for people with slow connections. sometimes a post title interests you but when you open the post its not what you expect.

If you can't see the content, then, short of an admission by the sender, how can you block the sender on the word of the recipient(s)? They can lie too?

 

I have been threatened (go figure, hehe?) and just ignored the sender.

 

My point? Monitor, traceability, etc. Otherwise it is just he said, she said...so to speak.

I corrected my reply to read "the entire OP",not the entire thread.
