official dates are 13 & 14 April.  In pattaya, the festival finishes on the 19th

The silly season AKA Songkran

 

I hate those bastards who throw out Prickly heat powder instead of Rice Flour I got an eyefull of it the last time I was there and was in agony for hours

Songkran in Pattaya is hell

avoid like the plague

Filthy water in your eyes nose ears mouth and drenched for 6 days

Last time 2 years ago I ended up with a bad chest infection never again  

Its not my idea of fun
