How do I load old kodak slides to my computer/internet?

I bought Film 2PC 35mmor 110 mm film and slide scanner made by ion which apparently does the job. One of those things I bought on offer from Maplin over here but never tried it yet. There are also flatbed scanners with attachments to do the job. All is done with the assistance of a supplied software.

If you just have some special photos that you want to move from slides

I have used this company and they are very good, they will

put your slides on a DVD, even add music for a slide show, that will then

copy straight onto any computer.

Works out between 16 to 20p a slide depending on how many you have done.

Before I used them I tried a self scanning device and decided

the overall purchase price was more than having a pro company copy them

for me, of course if you have hundreds, ignore this suggestion.

You're there so go ask them. Take 5 slides with you and if they say yes see how good a job they do. The thing about slides is if you have 100's at some point the scanner is cheaper albeit boring as hell.

The US market has shifted to outsourcing them to India where it is a pretty good deal if you've lots to do.
