Korean restaurants and Korean markets

Can anyone tell me where I can find a good one of each? I have a taste for Korean food, kimchee in particular.

Just a hunch, but have you tried Korea Town in BKK? Sukhumvit Soi 12.

Seoul, Inchon , south LA, Christie and Bloor in Toronto. Pyongyang except they only serve boiled rocks and twigs.

I like Korean food in general but the heat and humidity of LOS generally puts me off of the idea of eating dishes which were created to warm you up on a sub-freezing day in Seoul.

Thanks for the tip on Koreatownn in BKK. I had a decent meal there, but live in pattaya, so it is a little far to go.

I love Korean food. I havent been sick a day in 9 years, knock on wood. I put it down to eating kimchee on a daily basis and drinking copious amounts of beer nightly. The beer stuns any viruses in my body and the kimchee destroys them with 5000 years of Korean culture. The double whammy, as it were.

how about places in Pattaya? Seen any?

There's a korean restaurant on 2nd Road, right hand side as you go towards big C, just after soi 6, opposite the McDonalds. I've not tried it but from what I've observed, when sat in the Cozy bar across the road, it seems to get a steady flow of punters and none that I've seen have run out puking.

There are a few korean resturants on Sai 3 between Ninja Moo Ka Taa and Climax ; on the other side of the road. Not sure if its still there but it was operating less than 12 months ago.

I thought you were supposedly to be living in Pattaya? Sai 3 is 3rd road. The t junction of North Road and Sai 3 is where Climax is. Once you are there , go southwards along Sai 3 and the resturant should be on your right (about 1km). If you reach Ninja Moo Ka Taa ; they have neon signboard with a pig's head in a clay/hot pot , you've gone too far.

Sai 3 = Third road. you learn something new everyday. Thanks. I'll see if I can get over there.

I am living in Pattaya, but I just moved here. I speak only a few works in Thai. i am working on learning 'where you from?' 'how long you stay pattaya?' so that I can get the bar girls to answer their own questions.
