Hi Guys,

arriving on the 1st of October for 2 weeks. I usually stay in the Queen Vic but for some unknown reason, I decided and to venture out a bit this trip and have got an apartment in the Nova Mirage complex in Naklua. I have never stayed or even visited this part of town and would welcome any recommendations that you could give me.

Many thanks :chogdee

Its not an area i would consider staying, too far off the beaten track for me.

5 to 10 min walk to bus route, there will be motos around but i tend to avoid them.

On the flip side the complex is supposed to be very nice and quiet.Somehow im not sure that will suit you lol.

Will be interested to find out how it goes, have a great hols.

Thanks Steve. Cant help thinking I may have dropped a bollock, oh well.

Looks like the best course of action maybe an extended GFE, save on taxi fares..lol

Can you speak German?

Fortunately, I served for 16 years in the Army and spent a over 10 years in Germany, served my mongering apprenticeship in the fleshpots of Hamburg & Berlin, so the language wont be a problem. :thumbup

A pleasant refined part of town, very popular with the German expats, holiday makers and to a much lesser extent a few Russians. It is a mere 10 baht bus ride into Pattaya which is usually completed in 10 minutes. British football hooliganism does not go down well with Harry Hun or the local constabulary.

Blimey ! That was a sweeping assumption that because my ID is football related that I am a hooligan :yikes:

To be honest my main reason for opting for Naklua this trip was that last year, the masses of Russian & Indians really detracted from my enjoyment of Pattaya.

Thanks for the info on the Baht bus. :thumbup
