Hi partyanimal,

I have been using "Nings" on second road past Big C in the shopping complex by the Dolphin roundabout for about 1 year now, she charges 200 Baht for shampoo, cut and style.  I also take my GF in when she deserves a treat, and she loves it.

It's not the cheapest you will find, but they speak good English and I have always been happy with the results and left with my ears in original condition…

Head away from the beach on Pattaya Central from Second road.  On the right hand side up no more than a block is a barber shop with about 5 chairs.  Haircuts were about 100baht and I don't remember if that included a wash.  Good haircut though.

On South Pattaya Road between Beach and Second Road on the right hand side next to Internet Explorer Café is a good shop. A haircut will cost you about 60 baht plus the tip.

rhino $10 Aus  ;),  I didn't realize that the Aus $ was that much less than the US $.  Most of the barbershops in Pattaya that aren't located in the big malls or hotels charge between 60-100 baht.  I don't think the Thai's tip when they get a cut, but I give them 20 baht.

I was just in town and got a good haircut, as well as a shampoo, blow dry and a shave for 300 baht total at a place on Pattaya South.  Don't remember the name but it was on the north side of the street between Second Road and Beach Road (about a third of the way down from Second Road), next to a massage parlor and with a barber pole spinning next to the door.  Good service, good staff and good air conditioning.  I ended up going back a couple of times just to get a shave and shampoo.

I have kept my hair for 2 months now.  at the end of this month will go to a shop in Pattaya Klang (near Little Duck Hotel/Disco).  100B, get a male cutter if you can, avoid the elderly lady, she only knows how to cut puyings.
