Garth Tander just beat Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy in the shortest margin in the race history of .282 seconds after travelling 1,000 kms. All 3 drove GM Holdens.

 

In-fact, 6 out the Top Ten Finisher were Holdens along with 4 Fords in Race Record Time. The best Ford could do was 4th, nearly a Lap behind the winners.
