MIXX Disco troubles

Anyone been in this place? Security seems to be taking liberties.

Two foreign tourists from Russia and Colombia were allegedly assaulted by security staff at a well-known South Pattaya Discotheque early on Monday Morning. Police were called to the front of Mixx Discotheque located at the Bali Hai Plaza and determined the two injured tourists had already been taken to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital. There were many witnesses to the alleged attack and it was claimed that guards working at the Disco assaulted Mr. Oscar Delgado aged 30 from Colombia and Mr. Yuri aged 25 from Russia who were hit across the head with pieces of wood. During the attack witnesses also claimed that one of the guards produced a gun and fired twice into the air. Injuries to the two men were relatively minor allowing Police to focus on the guards involved in the attack. For now no arrests have been made.

I went there a couple of years ago but decided it was too expensive for a session place. I decided to go back in September of this year but it seems to me that the Mixx and the adjoining 'Gentlemens Club' The Caramel Club was simply an extention of those horrible Russian clip joints in Walking Street and I therefore gave the whole thing a miss. By the way, the club states that beers start at '300 baht!'

Went here my Last night after FLB party,

 

Seedy Disco, 2 main rooms, lots of people very drunk, young crowd

Lots of drunk Thia men and women, lots of very fit russians, swore a few girls were supermodels!!

 

I would not go out of my way to go thier but have been 4 or 5 times.

 

I think Hard security is needed a lot of fights can happen outside with young felang and thia.

 

Never really felt comfortable in Mixx but some damn sexy freelancers make it worth a look.
