Planning my first trip to LOS in May. A lifetime ago I made many visits to the Philippines with the Air Force.

I have only recently heard about the scene in Thailand.

Needless to say , didn't take long to start making plans.

I need some info on Pattaya Equestrian Center. I have seen it listed with travel guides. But, no way to contact these folks directly. All I know is its supposed to be about 20 mins. from Pattaya and may be connected to a hotel.  May never get around to but from what I understand they have some world class horses. The type that is difficult to have a chance to ride. Any info will be appreciated.

The amount of information that everyone makes available will be very helpful for a 1st timer. Hope to run into some of you during my visit.

Voltalk,

I'm not familiar with the equestrian (i'm not thinking of riding horses in Pattaya!  ;D) center but I will be in LOS in May and if you want to meet up for a beer just let me know...

Have a great trip!

Right-I wouldn't normally be thinking of mounting anything with four legs while in a place with so amny other suitable mounts. Just struck me as odd that this caliber of animal would be in Thailand. Anyway, looks like I'll be there 5/15-5/30. If you will be there during that time we could meet up. Thats if you don't mind seeing the beginning of someone losing the ability to think rational.

voltalk,

It's called Horseshoe Point Resort and is out by Siam Country Club Golf Course (15-20 min drive from the main resort area).  All the info you need is at:

Voltalk,

Send me a message or email and I'll give you the dates I'm in town so we can have a cold one. Between the two of us we should be able to navigate curbs and Beach Road without being run over by baht busses!
