Should we party in Pattaya or Phuket?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I would like some input on which city is the best party spot with the hottest women, Pattaya or Phuket?. Myself and two friends are going to be in Thailand next month and would like some opinions.

Thanks In Advance

I returned recently from LOS.

Spent 10 days in Phuket, 4 days in BKK and 11 days in Pattaya.

In my opinion there is no comparison as far as party spots and women.  Pattaya is light years ahead of Phuket.

BKK was interesting and fun, but I really don't like smelling car fumes all the time.

If you want to go to a place that is truly beautiful and has more to offer with outdoor daytime activities, go to Phuket.

Personally, My next trip back will be to get to Pattaya as soon as I can after I arrive at the airport!

I'm glad I went to Phuket, but now that I've been there I don't think I will go back unless I have a pretty lady with me.

Go to Pattaya, period, if you really want to party and be with some really hot women.

Oh, I almost forgot.....Pattaya is a hell of a lot cheaper also.  Everything costs more in Phuket.

:) its an interesting choice when it comes to Pattaya or Phuket; I feel personally that pattaya  8)offers a more wider infrastructure for the tourist. be that hotels, restaurants, malls, Agogo clubs, massage parlors, you name it, Pattaya has it. now, if you are looking for more open country and trying to get into it, then I would suggest Phuket ;). Pattaya should always be the prime destination with Phuket to compliment  the  vacation and the good times.  ;) :D :D///

if your just going for the nightlife, then pattaya full stop.but patong in phuket has a lot more to offer in the day, with the nice beaches and stuff.good night life aswell but more expensive, and ive heard the shark club has closed.i was in there every night so i would stick to pattaya now.cheers gary

Glad to hear some of your opinions. I was undecided about Pattaya or Phuket myself. It would be nice if they had a major airport closer to Pattaya. I've read they are currently building a 2nd international airport in Bangkok. Probably to handle that new Airbus monstrosity coming out in 2006.

Eltib/Dubya,

If you want to experience both the nightlife and beaches head for Pattaya and take a side trip to Samui for a couple of days once you are there.  The flight is from U-Tapao (about 30 mins drive from Pattaya) and great value packages can be had from all of the travel agents in Pattaya.  Just shop around a bit until you are happy with what suits you best.

Regards,

Tom

Hi Etlib.

the travel time to Pattaya vs Phuket

is pretty much the same, flight to Phuket

50 min, before u get out of the airport

and get a cap another small hour, arriving

to your destination, be it Patong, Kata or

Karon (i´m guessing ok), another 45 mins.

A cap from bkk to pty 2-3 hours, up 2 u, ok.

Bye bye bye

Hult
