hotels in patong beach

I`ve got it in my head to try a 4 day side trip to Phuket in the middle of my January trip. never been there before so I don`t really know what to expect, an excursion to phi phi is way up there on my list of priorities.

I am looking for a hotel for around 1000-1500 baht a night, don`t really want to go much higher than that. any suggestions fellas?

Try the Summer Breeze. That always gets good reviews.

Stayed at the C & N Hotel in October. It is very close to the action and guess friendly.

Careful though the C & N Resort is a ways away..

Well, if you don't mind a walk of a few blocks to Bangla Road (the nightlife), then you could always try one of the many guesthouses. Most of those should be in the right price range. Try the Andaman Sea Guesthouse, perhaps, or the Ferb Guesthouse for a slightly farther walk.

Ferb looks nice as I recall, and cheapish. On Soi Banzaan, as is Chalermporn Guest House, also cheap.
