Watching a programme called Crisis Control on TV last week I was surprised to hear that Atlanta was the busiest passenger airport in the world with Delta having its hub there....

 

I always thought it was Chicago O'Hare airport or even London Heathrow ??

 

Amazed that there was a take off/landing every 27 seconds...

If you include cargo then it's Heathrow.

I thought with terminal 5 - it was Heathrow. Heathrow certainly seems to have a plane leave every 20 seconds and at times, have one leave at the same time one arrives
