Finished the online vis application form for partner,which includes info regarding taking her 11 yo son with us.

 

My question is,does he need a visa also, or sufficient info to show passport control in uk,as i am confused abit.

What does the website where you did all this say? It should be fairly clear what they expect. Usually anyone arriving needs a visa unless they are a resident or exempt. And their own passport usually.

If you mean Thailand, if the kid has a passport of your nationality, the kid needs the same visa you need. Otherwise he needs a visa for the nationality of his passport.

 

To put it another way, the kid needs exactly the same as an adult needs. Exactly.

Easier just to apply for Political Asylum at London Airport.

 

They will give them a house and couple of grand a month spending money.

 

Just say they're from Burma and you'll be laughing all the way to the Dole Office.

Only problem with that is if they have no visa the airline won't let them fly.
