HI AGAIN ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON TALAY 1, 2 , 5, WHICH ONE IS THE BEST IF ANY ARE? AND ANY INFO ON T.W. WONG AMAT BEACH RESORT CONDOMINIUM IN NAKLUA, LOOKING TO RENT CONDO FOR 6 MONTHS STARTING MARCH 2012, NO ONE SEEMS TOO REPLY TO MY MESSAGES HEAR? OK THANKS.

The view Talay condominiums are OK. The lower numbered ones are the older buildings. I stayed in View Talay 7 for a while and liked it, good swimming pool mini mart etc, security good as well.

 

I would book a hotel for a week and get an agent to show you around a few then either deal through an agent or checkout the post card adverts in the like of Big C or Friendship supermarket once you have some background.

 

In my opinion I would prefer the view taly condos, position wise...

As to your point, it's not unusual for people to take all caps as shouting. Google " uppercase shouting"for example..it's just a convention, a matter of understanding how things are perceived.

Oh, and on this board, it's my rule. All caps is shouting or seeking unwarranted attention.

Geez, people defend all caps postings but I can't get any love for entire posts in blinking fonts? Life is so unfair...

 

I recommend you also check out View Talay 6 as I think it has the best location in Patts (next to Central Festival on Beach Rd). I tried a few different condos from Dancewatchers in various buildings, but after I stayed in VT6 it has been my #1 choice for all my trips since then.

 

I also recommend you use the search function on this and the other Pattaya boards to read condo reviews from other BMs - including their reviews of dealings with the condo owners (such as getting their deposits back, etc).

Talay 6 would be my choice if I wanted to pay the premium, for site position.

View Talay 6 actually in Pattaya, not on Jomtien... for many the best choice, but if you ( anyone ) want a more relaxed environment the Jomtien location may be better...

 

VT1: Too tired, but really friendly with the little shops / bars etc. on the first floor

VT2: In good condition, the best swimming pool in Jomtien incl. Pattaya... ( what I know ) usually crowded, hard to find free rooms in the peak season...

VT5: Slowly it become more lively from the ghost house state, small swimming pool... however almost ( you must walk through a hotel ) beachfront buildings...

VT7: Really nice building, but one small swimming pool and only 3 elevators for the 3 building wings.... the bright side, the side wings are totally ghost houses...
