I'll be leaving Thailand next month and will be gone when I'm supposed to do my 90 day reporting. I'll have the proper multiple exit visa stamp in my passport but when I return in 6 or 7 weeks, I'll be looking for a new place and possibly new city to live.

How is this handled with the thai immigration? Do I have a grace period when I return or does my 90 day reporting period start from my time of reentry?

Now that the British attache is no longer at the Jomtien immigration, is there anyone there who can help out in English? Any links to government sites that give visa regulations and policies in English? My Thai's a little rusty. 555

Thanks

Your reentry to Thailand restarts the 90 day "clock". You're fine, no problems, since if you leave Thailand before your reporting time, there is no need to report.

Jeese 9cosco999 ........ do you really expect anyone to squint that hard to read your post in order to reply with an intelligent answer - for goodness sake change the font size you post with.....

I did nothing intentional to change the font when I posted the above. It just came out that way.

Sorry if it bothered you but if you'll post your address, maybe I'll send you a pair of extra strong reading glasses. You could probably use a pair anyway.

Unfair. Your message is really quite unreadable if I use Internet Explorer or Chrome.

It is small but easilly readable on FireFox though. Maybe you use FireFox and did not see the problem?
