Does anyone has a digital copy of "Private Dancer" book translated to Thai language?

 

I want my new Thai friend to read it and comment, but she doesnt know english well enough to read the original version

I can't imagine any Thai would like the book. Would probably piss them off, even if the stereotype is focused on Issan girls they deem to be beneath them.

Agreed, they are certainly not very accepting of being painted in a bad light.

I've read that the author claimed that he would never allow the book to be translated into Thai. The author of Money Number one has made the same claim. Thai's don't like people writing or speaking of how things really are. It's probably a good thing not to have a Thai read the book. Much like the Lady Gaga post, a fake Rolex can be bought on every street corner, but Thai's don't like it said publicly.

UPDATE - The book Private Dancer by Stephen Leather is being translated into Thai.

 

Not sure if it will be published as a book or just online. Probably another 2 months work before its finished.
