I see them, but they're grayed out, indicating that I can't use them.

You might have javascript disabled or some other security setting on your browser.

Good thought, but I just checked and JavaScript is enabled. it could be because I'm using an old-ass version of Firefox, because I'm using an old-ass computer. I tried using Safari and it isn't any better.

 

Guess it's time to dig a crowbar into my wallet and fork out for a new box.

Try downloading the latest flash player.

Do you have any problems with any other animated stuff on web pages or adverts. Does not really matter how old your version of firefox is. You caould also try downloading the latest java.

If you have other problems with graphics then you could have a dud graphics card.You could just buy a new one and if it is for an old computer and basic one it will be fairly cheap.
