You can bring 2 x 23 kg baggage ! The cheaper tickets costs 661 USD from Hungary to BKK....

Plus the cost of any of us flying to Budapest first.

I get 2 X 32 kg on Cathay Pacific, I cannot imagine what I'd lug around the world weighing 140 pounds.

My last trip I had one bag of 19 Kg.

On the way back last time I could only muster 15kg, half of my allowance.

Mind you, have you ever seen Egyptians travel..... they have those big wrenches for getting the kitchen sink out!

Good for you.... must be some VIP member...

I know many - including myself - who has issues with the 1 piece / 23 kg wight concept, the majority air companies use.... usually the long term visitors.... so I just mentioned....

I know only the prices from my departure origin, but I'm sure the EGYPT air fly not only from BP.

Keep in mind that you can also carry a 12kg (which is supposed to be under 7kg but nobody bothers to check) cabin luggage!

Most of the time their planes are empty as well.

From their onboard brocchure:

That tells me they (may) fly to Edinburgh utilising a codeshare, nothing else - well, apart from they're not very good at geography

Egypt Air is an excellent airline but I would never use them again if I had to connect through any city in Egypt. Was there in January of 2011 when the shit hit the fan.
