Thai airways "promotion"!

Hello Thai have recently started a "promotion" . So Ive just booked a return for January for £615..........not mega cheap for sure!.but it has a free internal flight in Thailand as well. so £615 to Bangers from Heathrow, with a Chiang Mai flight (or where ever you want t go to!) thrown in.

 

Ive not flown Thai for years now, been using Eva as Thais 747s have no I.F.E , (at least for a peasnt like me in cattle class!). Now Thai are using smaller airbuses, which have (for me anyway) the all important screen in seat backs! Also for me, Thais flight times are better, as I prefer leaving Heathrow at mid day, and then leave Bangers at mid-day.

 

I booked through West East, but also other agents are showing Thai for sub £600.

One thing though? On West Easts web site it doesnt mention the "free internal flight"? By booking over the phone it cost a few quid more, but I got a free flight to Chiang Mai!

 

I was going to book Eva for £599, or considered Ethihad at £540 ish, but for me Thais flight times are perfect! Happy bookings!

 

 

PS. Didnt go to Thailand last year? (first time for 20 odd years!!) so cant bleeding wait! lol!

Sorry ! I meant! I prefer to leave Bangkok at midnight ish! The fare lets you leave and depart on either of Thais daily flights to and fro! In the past it was usually more restrictive!

The IFE box hanging below the seat in front now prevents passengers from stretching out and in my case getting comfortable for a big sleep on the journey. Much prefer the old format,but can't do anything about it. As you say,the times to and from LHR are good

It is good to see Thai offering some good deals and thanks for the heads up regarding the 'free' internal flight.

I was looking for a couple of Biz Class seats to Hong Kong from Bangers and Thai always come up more expensive.

Feeling good now! Cos not only am I going to Patts in January (after a 2 year absence!) but the fare has gone up about £60 now!
