Sad for this guy. I investigate commercial vehicle accidents for a living. The basic procedures here show an odd sense of detachment. Usually with an incident this bad in the US I have to race the police to the accident then take as many photos as possible as fast as possible before LE starts tampering with the scene. Here they are taking their time presenting everything to media. Really an easier way to go.

Alcohol involvement? That seems to be the case many times. Someone with too much to drink at 3AM gets on a motorcycle and wants to see how fast it will go. The live until they get to the first curve in the road. Of course, I've also seen idiots in broad daylight have accidents.
