Wanting to buy smaller house

Recommended Posts

Looking to buy a small house in/or around Pattaya. Prefer a house but would consider a nice Townhouse. Have a Thai wife so doesn’t have to be in a Company Name. If you have one or know of anyone who is selling please PM me. Realtors can contact me too. I’m here until the beginning of March.

Location: Anywhere from Naklua to Jomtien including the Darkside

Size: Min. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom (approx. min. 80sm Living Space)

Prefer single storey but two storey ok.

Budget: Up to 2.4 million baht

Musts: Quiet

Off street covered parking large enough for pickup truck

Air conditioned

Gated community with 24hr Security

In reasonable shape – don’t want to have to do any maintenance right away

Decent European style Kitchen

Located in an area not prone to Flooding

Prefer: Communal Pool, Washing Machine, Furnished, Tile Roof

I have a friend selling a 2 Storey house but it is further North than you specify,

Located near Kasalong Resort, Suk Soi 21, opposite Banglamung Police Station.

Not sure if it is even still on the market as owner out of country.... but will contact him if it will help.

To be honest I just read your post and it falls down on a few issues, no communal pool, nor security, but I am not sure those items are a big deal!

Think hard about moving too far out of town...... it has it's disadvantages if you like to go out!

I miss being near to the night-life..... when I go out I like to have a drink so .driving is out of the question.

Even going out to eat involves a drive and traffic is getting worse, you don't feel it if you are already in town, and on foot.

Perhaps less of an issue for some, but I don't particularly like driving, being able to stroll to a nearby bar or restaurant (and back again) would be nice.
