Dynasty Inn Soi 13

I have hung around this board and read many posts and have gotten some very good and valuable information.  Yet I seldom post.  I have made the trek to Pattaya twice now and will be prowling again.  I am going to be arriving in Pattaya Jan 18 and have reservations at a few places (wish I was bedding a lady in everyone) including the new Dynasty Inn on Soi 13.   Has anyone stayed there since they opened?  I have stayed at there hotel in Bkk and was pleased but, what can I expect from them in Pattaya?

Thanks to all for all the great info you have provided me in the past an I hope you will be able to provide me with some more info on the Dynasty that is not already available on their website.

They are currently building another hotel right next to the Dynasty and another board member said it was noisy.  I will be arriving in Pattaya next week for 30 days.  Send me a PM in 3 or 4 weeks to remind me and I'll let you know if the noise could be a problem.

Mr. Bacon,  Just remember that if this hotel is like its sister hotel in BKK, you will not be able to bring your friend Mr. Durian into the Pattaya Dynasty. Regards, James >

Jimmybb-Is Mr. Durian some kind of guard I need to be aware of?  Cumming from a man who sleeps on benches I wonder where you get your information.  Remember A'dam and what happens on benches and poles.  Sleeping next to or with Mr. Durian should not offend a man of your taste. ;D

I had a look at the rooms 3 days ago, they are clean but fairly basic and a little small, the foyer area looks good.  There is also as mentioned digging for the foundations of a building next door.

 

In my opinion the rooms are significantly better in Sandy Spring about 50 meters up the Soi, I took a few pictures and will post them as soon as I work out how.   Also I checked out the rooms with a fellow board member who is staying at Eastiny Place on Soi 8, his view was also that Dynasty was not as good.  Having said that, the hotel is new clean and comfortable, also the location is great.  Cheers

Flash:  I will be staying at Eastiny Place in Decmber.  I have read reviews and was just wondering what you think of the hotel.  Compared to others in the area.

I strolled past it a month or so ago, and wondered if it was related to the Dynasty on Suk, Soi 4, BKK. It looked reasonable enough to me, kind of wished I'd bothered to look inside !

 

It was only later that I found out that it was, their website gives you a bit more info...

It looked a hell of a lot better than the place I was staying in ( Baiyoke Hotel ), and if it's as good as the one in BKK, then I'll be considering it for next time (May'04)

Any one know if the Dynasty Inn Pattaya finished their rooftop pool?  It was mentioned in a few previous posts.

 

I think I'll try the place out for a couple of days and stay longer if I like it.

I looked 4 days ago at the rooms in the Dynasty on Soi 13. IMHO they were dark and small. The two rooms I saw were priced at 990 and 1200 baht and did not even compare to the Eastiny Place room I was staying in for 750 baht.

 

Eastiny Place rooms are much better and bigger than those at the new Dynasty. I'll be doing a post on Eastiny Place with pics soon.

I stayed at the Dynasty Inn for 3 days in Oct 03 & found the hotel ok.Paid 990 and got free transport from BK.The room was fine,everything brand new,staff very friendly.no problem with joiner fee.TGF just had to give in her ID at the desk.The reason I checked out was the noise & dust from next door where they are building.Also the rooftop pool was not finished :-[
