Anyone know of best places to watch the lions games against Australia.

Also what dates and times of kick offs.

Did watch wales beat Ireland for grand slam a few years ago in rosie o gradies, excellent atmosphere.

The team that lost the 1st test. :clueless There are no Scots available, apart from Grant, (who is only there because all of the other "genuine" looseheads are broken) that are good enough to make the team. Gray would now be 3rd choice lock, but is lucky to be on tour, unlike the huge potential he was showing 3 seasons ago. Laidlaw should have been selected ahead of Murray for the Tour.

Congratulations to the Brits for Andy Murray winning Wimbledon, to the Welsh for flogging the Wallabies in the decider and it looks like Chris Froome has the Tour de France in the bag as well. Your mob will probably give us another hiding in the Ashes series just to humiliate us even more.

 

Having said that, Aussie sport is not going down the gurgler. We are just taking a breather and are one of the first teams to have qualified for the World Cup in Brazil.

No one country can stay on top forever.......and while the Aussie teams are not winning at the moment....it can change very quickly!

Huge congrats to the British Lions and also Andy Murray on winning Wimbledon.

Justin Rose did you proud in Golfing circles recently.

British Sport is flying high at the moment.......enjoy it!

After watching the first two State of Origin matches I think the boys from down under will be strong favourites to win the Rugby League World Cup. The Aussies have always been better at the much rougher and tougher game of Rugby League. Rugby Union is a good game, but often decided on penalty kicks, which I dislike.

I find "league" rather boring myself, and a tad parochial, but I would say that it is the one sport that the Aussies do remain the world leaders in; and would expect them to win their version of a World Cup.

All games are boring unless they are played at the highest level for the spectator, unless one is directly involved or a follower of a certain team or has or is playing with that team him/herself.

 

The preference of one's game depends on where a person comes from and which game is popular there. I was brought up with soccer and soccer is still my first choice. I loved it when I was able to watch Australia play Thailand in the Asian Cup at the Rajamangala Stadium before a parochial Thai crowd despite getting soaking wet in the rain.

 

As a youngster I become involved with an Australian Rules football team in a minor league and loved it. I also played some Rugby league, but was often taken very hard knocks playing being tall and slim, so I stopped playing League. Some of the big boys playing were just too strong and it was no fun waking up bruised or with black eyes the following day, having to go to work.

 

I love watching most team sports including Soccer, Aussie Rules, Cricket, League, Union, land hockey, American Football and ice hockey. At present I am following the Tour de France on Eurosport every night starting at 8PM with baited breath and three Aussie Rules games shown on BTV cable on ABC Australia Asia on the weekend. Aussie Rules games in Melbourne or Sydney often draw crowds of around 90 000 fanatic spectators. I think only the Bundesliga gets similar crowd numbers.

 

The first Ashes Test wasn't shown on TV in Jomtien, so I always had one eye on Cricketinfo.com, a very good and informative website. It was a great contest and I am not too disappointed your mob scraped home by 14 runs. A good game is a close one . It is good to see the Sky team doing so well and setting Chris Froome up for a Tour win. Well, at least he has an Aussie (Porte) helping him.
