Are you speaking of internet access via LAN or just one which has computers on site?

I believe all of the President Group hotels (Grand, Park, Royal) offer high speed internet access.  I used it at the Royal President and it was reasonably priced with good connections.

I've been looking for high speed and in-room Internet access as well.  Centre Point looks good so far--284 kbps up and 284 down (unable to get much other details as they won't answer emails about their Internet access).  Oakwood claims they have 1 mbps, but I contact the company that provides the access and it's shared with an average speed of only about 64 kbps!  Haven't found much else at a reasonable price.  I'd like to know what you find though.    

 

How long are you staying in BKK and when?  I'll probably have an apartment with access soon enough and would possibly be interested in splitting the cost of a 2 bedroom apartment.

What is the cheapest way to do it if I bring my laptop...

I only used it at the Royal President.  At the time it was ~B170/day.  I didn't have any special user account, they brought a DSL modem to my room and hooked it up to my laptop, it took about 15 minutes.

I stayed at Centerpoint for about 3 months and the internet access is included in room. Works ok most of the time.
